Please sign up as a volunteer to lay wreaths using the links and information provided below. Click the BZ website link, www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/DC0053, click Volunteer, then select either Arlington National Cemetery or at US Soldiers' & Airmen's Home. If volunteering, please sign up by December 12, 2023. In addition to signing up on the site, please also RSVP here on Wild Apricot and select either "Soldiers' Home" or "Arlington Cemetery" as your ticket so that we can keep track of those that are volunteering.
US Soldiers' & Airmen's Home National Cemetery
- We will be holding our ceremony at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 with wreath placement to follow immediately after at approx 12:30 PM. When you place the wreath, please have the bow at the top, read the veteran's name aloud, and take a moment to reflect. For those volunteers who may want to help unload the wreaths from the trucks, we invite you to join us at 10:30 AM to help unload them but please note, wreaths will not be placed until after the ceremony.

- Parking Update: This year we are not allowed to park at St. Paul's Rock Creek Cemetery. So, once the Soldiers' and Airmen's Home National Cemetery fills up, overflow cars will be directed to a parking lot on the retirement home grounds. Please review the attachment in the weekly updates and follow the instructions of all the parking attendants.
Arlington Cemetery – The laying of wreaths will start at 8:00 a.m
